A Veterans Day gathering aboard the USS Yorktown.
On November 11, the Charleston community will gather aboard the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point for a Veterans Day program honoring those who served and supporting veteran families receiving care in Charleston.
The day is planned in two parts: a public program on the flight deck featuring music, remembrance, and community participation, followed by a private evening reception for sponsors, donors, and partners in support of the Fisher House mission.
Public program 2:00–3:30 PM
Private reception 4:00–6:00 PM
Program notes: Public seating and sponsorship details will be released as planning is finalized. The afternoon program is intended for the broader Charleston community, while the evening reception will be reserved for sponsors, donors, and invited partners.
Veteran families should not have to face medical care alone.
Proceeds and sponsorships support Friends of Fisher House Charleston’s work helping families stay close to a loved one receiving care at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center.
