Major General (Ret.) Fergal Foley has served for 29 years in the United States Army, progressing from enlisted to senior officer roles, both on active duty and in the National Guard. He continued his career in corporate and public sector leadership roles while continuing to volunteer and support numerous nonprofit and charitable organizations.

After retiring from the military, Ferg transitioned to the corporate sector, serving as Chief Operating Officer for a defense contracting firm. His subsequent role was Field Office Manager for the United States General Services Administration overseeing facility operations for federal buildings and courthouses in New York City.

Ferg is currently on the Board of Directors for the Living Waters Mental Health Fund and Patriot Hills of NY that advance initiatives supporting veterans and their families. He is also active in the Knights of Columbus and the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem (NGO) which supports local charitable initiatives as well as providing support to the Holy Land. Ferg is also the author of A Catholic Awakening—It’s Never Too Late, underscoring his belief in the enduring importance of service, faith, and purpose at all stages of life.

Ferg lives in the Grand Strand area with his wife Colleen. Their son, Rory, is a Lieutenant in the United States Army.
