Joshua Strimple

Joshua Strimple, a Lieutenant Colonel and Military Intelligence Officer with the US Army Reserve, was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal for his service with Operation New Dawn in Iraq in 2010-11. While continuing to serve in the Army Reserve, Joshua founded the Charleston Classic, a golf and tennis tournament that supports the national Wounded Warrior Project.

Joshua is also a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management in Charleston, SC and has previous job experience in retirement plans for non-profit organizations, as well as construction management for school districts. His unique combination of military service, financial expertise, and nonprofit experience makes him an invaluable leader for Friends of Fisher House Charleston.

Through his leadership, Joshua brings both the perspective of an active service member who understands the challenges facing military families and the business acumen necessary to guide a growing nonprofit organization. His commitment to supporting wounded warriors through the Charleston Classic demonstrates his ongoing dedication to serving those who have served our country.
