The Daniel Island Exchange Club Serves Dinner at the Fisher House

The Daniel Island Exchange Club came to the Charleston Fisher House to cook dinner for the veteran families staying at the House — chicken, roasted vegetables, and dessert, prepared and served by club volunteers in the Fisher House kitchen.

“It is an honor to come and cook a home cooked meal for those that have served,” the club shared.

The dinner is one more way the club shows up for those who serve. Each June, the Daniel Island Exchange Club plants 1,000 American flags at River Landing Park for the Daniel Island Field of Honor, with proceeds supporting the Charleston Fisher House. Thank you to the club for honoring service members all year long — on the field and at the table.
