Want to Touch Hearts?

All our volunteers play a vital roll in the Fisher House. With every moment, we provide true southern hospitality, kindness, and compassion, in hopes to ease the families heavy hearts so they can stand strong for their Veteran. Our aim is to touch hearts, but we find each and every family touches our hearts, too.

All guest programs at the Fisher House are provided by donations of time, talent and treasure from our community partners. We have regular volunteer opportunities for individuals or groups who are interested in having a consistent or occassional volunteer schedule.

Our families and our Veteran heroes thank you!

We need meals for the veterans and families at the Fisher House

Visit Meal Train to to schedule a day for your meal.

We need small groups to sign up for meals! Before COVID, we had a waiting list. Now we are at about 25%! Please grab a friend, a community group, or cater a dinner at Fisher House. Small groups (less than six) will create a menu, bring the ingredients and prepare the meal for about 20 guests. Dinner is served at 6PM buffet style. Total time and commitment is about four hours and the cost of the groceries. You will really enjoy spending time with the families of our heroes and they will treasure your involvement!
